“We needed to bring to life the experiences of women…their stories are incredibly powerful. The funding from Rosa meant we could do this and super-charge our campaigning, making a real difference to the lives of vulnerable women.” – Catherine Pellegrino, Senior Policy Officer at Maternity Action, Voices from the Frontline 2023 grantee
Today, Rosa launches the Voices from the Frontline Fund, now on its seventh round of funding. The fund offers grants of up to £10,000 over an 18-month period to women’s and girls’ organisations to support campaigning and influencing work that enables women and girls to use their voice to achieve change.
Rosa is proud to champion the campaigning and influencing work of women’s and girls’ organisations. We recognise that every progress in culture, law and practice in women’s and girls’ lives over the last two hundred years has been pioneered by women and girls, organising and mobilising.
Women’s and girls’ organisations are at the forefront of addressing social issues and we believe change comes about when women and girls who have lived experience of injustice and inequality get heard.
However, there remains a critical need for funding for women’s and girls’ organisations to deliver activism and campaigning to raise awareness of the issues women and girls face. This is why the Voices from the Frontline fund exists.
The deadline for applications is 4pm on Monday 9th December 2024. Please see more information on the Voices from the Frontline fund page and follow the links to the application guidance and FAQs.
