Rosa Summer Conference 2024
The Rosa Summer Conference 2024 took place online on Wednesday 26 June 2024. It was a day to inspire, connect and strengthen the women and girls sector.
We celebrated the incredible work of women-led organisations working to make the UK a fairer, safer place for women and girls. Our packed agenda brought inspiration from across the sector, chances to build new connections with peers and potential funders, and practical training you can put straight to work.

Welcome and opening keynote with Esua Goldsmith
British-Ghanaian feminist author, activist, campaigner, speaker, and facilitator Esua Goldsmith to opened the Rosa Summer Conference 2024 with a keynote speech entitled ‘Inspiring intergenerational insights across the women and girls sector.

The second second plenary session from the Rosa Summer Conference 2024 turned the spotlight onto the achievements of the women and girls sector with a series of short, focused mini-presentations, each showcasing an achievement of work that Rosa’s funding has supported, directly or indirectly.

In this ‘How To’ session, Rosie Lewis of Project Resist spoke about pragmatic ways to use your experience to plan and strategise for future funding opportunities, strengthen your organisation’s capacity to fundraise, and build your organisation’s resilience.

In this interactive ‘How To’ session, Gemma Pettman helped participants take a step back from the day-to-day to look at the bigger, strategic picture, working through a template to help refine thinking, work out priorities and set up for success.
