A bold new strategy

We’re delighted to share Rosa’s bold new three-year strategy, Creating lasting change for women and girls, which will help us continue our mission to fund and champion the UK’s women and girls sector.

Over the last few months, we’ve worked with funders, partners and some amazing women-led organisations to create an ambitious plan to build a sector that is better funded, more resilient and more sustainable.

We know we live in uncertain times, where progress towards equal rights for women and girls can’t be taken for granted. We also understand that women’s and girls’ organisations are critical in creating positive change, and in countering the misogyny, sexism, racism, poverty and male violence which so many women and girls face. As the only UK-wide funder with a mission to invest in women-led organisations, the sector needs Rosa’s support more than ever.

So, our new strategy is designed to create the conditions for the women and girls sector to be strong and sustainable, building on our achievements over the last 17 years. Our new theory of change is a clear action plan for achieving this. It identifies the problems our sector faces, how we can address them and the changes we seek to make.

We can’t do this alone. Chair of Trustees Olivia Gillan says: “Rosa’s strength has always come from the incredible community around us – charities, funders and partners – and we hope that we can continue to count on your support to make our shared goals a reality.”
