Rosa’s Voices from the Frontline fund invests nearly £340,000 in women and girls campaigning and advocacy

Rosa is proud to announce that 34 organisations led by and for women and girls have received grants of up to £10,000 through the eighth round of Rosa’s Voices from the Frontline fund. Grants will support campaigning and influencing work that enables women and girls to use their voice to achieve change.

Progress in women’s and girls’ rights over the past 200 years has happened thanks to women mobilising, leading and building movements for change. The Voices from the Frontline fund exists to support women’s and girls’ organisations to do that work.

About the Voices from the Frontline fund

Rosa’s Voices from the Frontline is the only UK fund dedicated to supporting women’s and girls’ organisations to deliver the activism and campaigning work which is so fundamental to delivering real change.

The fund makes grants of up to £10,000 over one year to organisations which are led by and for women and girls. Grants support work which will raise women’s and girls’ voices and challenge inequality, from national campaigns through to local influencing.

The Voices from the Frontline fund normally opens for applications in the autumn, subject to funding.  It has an inclusive video-based application process, and funding decisions are made by a grants panel including women’s sector representatives, some of them previous grant holders.

Each year, one of the Voices from the Frontline grants is selected as the recipient of the Miranda Bertram Award. This year’s Miranda Bertram Award winner is Rubies.
